for the sun roof tray. They shouldn't leak but they may be plugged up from debris and overflow the tray and into around the headliner near the sunroof. Try blowing compress air into the drain or else try Quasi's site for doing it from below.
As to the leak near the hatch, open the hatch, look at both sides where electric wires are ducted from the rear pillar to the hatch. There are two plastic accordian looking ducts with wires inside. Given the age of your vehicle and the amount of opening or closing you do with the hatch, the plastic ducts maybe broken at one or both sides. Take a careful look at each, the plastic may have become brittle with age and broken off at specific places. When it rains, water can be easily ducted through into the rear headliner. I have a '92 9K, the plastic duct was broken on one side. I put some shrink tubing over it and then wrapped around some black electrical tape around it for good measure.
