On cars with the analogue clock, the extra connector needed is provided and wire tyed to the wiring harness near the clock. The best way to find it is to push the ACC out and use a flashlight. It is black and hard to see, but it is on the same branch of the wiring harness that goes to the seat heater controls. This connector has a yellow dot that corresponds to a yellow dot on the back of the earlier style SCC that is associated with one bank of contacts. The 8 pin plug from the analogue clock goes to the other bank of connectors on the back of the SCC. The left ofver three connector plug from the clock plugs into a non--functional "parking spot" on the back of the SCC, so it appears that it has three connectors, when in fact, only tow are used. The later style SCC from '95 up will not work with the earlier EDU without wiring modifications.
No wiring modifications are required if using the earlier ('90 - '94).
