I hadn't thought of what you suggest, mostly because I suspect that most people monitoring the 9K BB do not follow the others available on TSN. I know I don't, but certainly should, and some of this subject matter should definitely show up on the "General" BB.
But I think general tidbits like this that may solve certain specific problems should surface here. For example, do the heater-core maladies in 9K's also plague owners of 900's, 9-3's, or 9-5's? I don't know. Then, would it be inappropriate to discuss tire brands, and when would it be appropriate and when not? I think the distinction between the models for some subjects might get nebulous at times.
I think discussing BL here is appropriate because I believe it is a panacea, or is in a majority of cases, for at least those ubiquitous heater-core maladies. Since this plagues 9K's and when someone asks advice on how to fix a seaping heater core, would it then be inappropriate to suggest using BL just because it likely works as well on other models as for 9K's? I think not, but I understand where you're coming from.
