On my 1989 Saab 9000Turbo, the temp gauge needle seems to keep running high, despite having the thermostat replaced and the radiator flushed. Do I need a new radiator, or maybe a new coolant sensor? On the other hand, the "check engine" light comes on occasionally and, after reading the manual again, wonder if it could be the alternator belt? (The manual said that the "check engine" light could mean that the alternator belt is loose and that it could effect engine cooling and battery charging...did I meantion that I had the battery replaced and it only charges up to around 12 volts?) Any help or words of wisdom will be appreciated!
