Supposing this is my...ahem...windshield washer fluid leaking, as opposed to a coolant leak. :) No, just supposing now...
See, here's the thing...
A while back, I was noticing the little windshield washer light on the dash lighting up. About a week ago I filled...(and I do mean FILLED)...that windshield washer reservoir. No more little light on the dash. Fine.
Remember now, that my leak is on the front passenger's side...
Last night I was driving along and poof, on comes that little windshield washer light again. Hmmmm... And I've hardly used the stuff. Hmmmm...
And remember the headlights which were showing up on my little car thingie on the dash? Headlights are no longer illuminating, but by golly last night the BRAKE lights were showing on that thing.
I'm scratching my head here. Weird stuff happens consistently when you buy a car with 100k+ miles, huh?
Anyway...while I'm kind of excited about the prospect of changing a waterpump, I think I'd first better make darned sure that was coolant leaking, and not windshield washer fluid.
Anyone ever had to change that reservoir?
Good Monday morning...happy new week...
Julia
