A '95 has LOTS of electronics. I'm sure there is a true throttle position sensor at the throttle body. TCS was standard, so there is a gas pedal position sensor. That sensor can have its contacts cleaned.
So a lot depends on what you're trying to fix. If you're having TCS problems, then it's probably the gas pedal position sensor. That's been covered here before, so search the archives for TCS and Sensor.
If the TCS is fine and you're attacking a driveability issue, then the suggestion was probably for cleaning at the throttle body.
