outside wheel on some really loose stuff. The way an open differential works you cannot spin the "faster" wheel unless traction is much less for that wheel than for the slower turning inside wheel. Reason is that the outside wheel is already "spinning" as far as the differential is concerned. It can only spin faster than that if the traction at that wheel is significantly less than for the inside wheel which is not that unusual actually.

The stiffer roll bar will accentuate any traction shortfall for the outside wheel as it is loaded up compared to stock.

In winter here we get outside wheelspin a lot due to unequal traction caused by patches of snow and ice on otherwise bare roads.

A limited slip diff would fix this but could cause the inside wheel to lose traction as well accentuating the understeer. A Quaife Torsen type lsd would tend not to do this.

BTW, if traction is approximately equal I have no difficulty spinning both front tires together with an open differential. The torque available from a stock Aero is mind bending.
