screwdriver to bend tabs in which keep the frame locked in dash. Remove frame, reach in and push the little fella out. I would suggest sketching the plugs (2) with their wire colors of each plug and where top/bottom of the sensor that they go. Try running car with bullsey on for a guard. See if it is the noise generator, which I would bet on it anyway.

I attacked mine with a grab of Qtip swabs moistened with water, then lubed the bearings of the motor with 3 n 1 household oil. It is a brushless DC motor so there is some electronics on circuit board which runs it and the magnets and its winding coils. I did both my 93's this way and the little squakers have been silent ever since.

I think when you see how it is built you will see why just shooting in air and spray from the front is useless.

Importante: note the plugs and how they plug onto the unit.

Julia, the unit runs a few seconds longer after system shutdown for a reason, probably to cool the temperature sensing diode on that little porch in front of the fan in the air stream. For some reason an engineer thought it wise to do this, it is ok, yours is not wacky just dry in the bearing department. Good Luck and have a great veggie feast when you have quiet.
