I have got a SAAB 9000-91 w/o turbo. Recently it has started having the
following bad behaviour when the weather is cold and it has been unused
for several hours:

It starts OK and I can drive away with it but if in the first minute or
so after starting I stop for eg a traffic light, release the accelerator
and then push it down again there is no response! The car just moves
very slowly like if I had not pushed the accelerator at all and was
running on idle. After something like 10 (very long) seconds it suddenly
starts working like it should. The service people have confirmed the
problem but they could not solve it. Any ideas?

Note: If I let the car run on idle for something like a minute then
there is no problem.
