Be very careful if using spray foam

The aerosol expanding spray foam expands alot. If you are going to use it use it sparingly. I know of a guy who used it after installing a door in a home to fill the gaps and then could not get the door shut because expansion of the foam actually moved the frame. Other wise sounds like a decent idea, I'd be interested to hear what others had to say.
