I own A 1993 AERO. I have fuel, I tested the pump that runs by jumping to power and also have fuel on plugs. MY DI is not getting spark on any of the 4 positions when I ground th eplugs to negative and run starter. How do I diagnose further without guessing what is failing. My tach needle is not jumping, but after reading many postings on the 9000 thread site, it seems that this does not necessarily rule out the CPS as being the culprit. I began the test from Townsend posted on their site for the DI, but when I follow to page 2 , I have a feeling that it is not exactly for my year of car. At one point he speaks of a wire next to a fuel filter in the engine compartment! Is the tach not jumping a definite indication of the CPS or not. I will be getting a backup ECU from a 95 AERO to try tonight.
