Is there anyone who is currently doing this?
I'm guessing that this works because DI/APC cars do not utilize the more advanced circuitry in the DI (allowing the spark plugs to function as knock/ignition sensors etc.), that varies between the black and red casettes, which makes the black cassette incompatible with T5.
So the signal that a DI cassette recieves from the DI/APC ECU is probably just ignition and the "burn off" cycle and not much else. Therefore it makes sense that even the newest DI casette would work.
I can't wait to try this!
