Keep in mind that even the '93 Z28 has 275hp, rear wheel drive, and will do mid-14s in the quarter mile. The newer 320+ horsepower cars can do mid-13s stock. That's pretty fast, and a lot of people modify them further (look at how many aftermarket parts are available compared to our cars.) Plus their transmissions won't even break :) Naturally there's always the chance the guy will smoke the tires too much on the lauch or miss a shift or whatever giving you a big advantage. As you know, on the highway a Saab can be pretty darn fast, but these Camaros top out close to 160, they're no slouch once up to speed either. Good luck if you try to race one, I'd love to hear a success story. Oh, and please don't use Ari's "ricer fly-by" method. No one likes that.
