When TCS is bad, you are supposed to go into limp mode, which allows limited driving.
If you are stalling, it could be that you are stalling in limp mode.
This happened to me and it is very scary.
To work on it, induce limp mode by disconnecting the vacuum hose that goes to the TCS bleeder valve. If this causes you to stall, you have to work on preventing stalling in limp home mode like any other stalling problem. I went over everything indicated to prevent stalling, including cleaning the throttle body.
I also received advice on BB about adjusting the limp home cable.
You still need to work on your TCS situation. Change the TCS Bleeder Valve, clean the connections, and then see what happens.
