1. The JT downpipe bolts straight to the turbo without any modifications. You need to make sure it is squarely on the turbo outlet and that the flange bolts down evenly, or you will get leakage. It's best to support the downpipe in a position where the flange easily fits with the turbo outlet, to prevent any torque on that union.
2. You'll need some rubber donuts to support the downpipe, using the clamp provided.
3. Downpipe to cat union should utilize a stainless 3" band clamp, which will conform to the pipes as you tighten it.
4. Cat to the rest of your exhaust will be difficult. You'll probably end up needing a short length of 3" pipe, with an additional stainless band clamp, then an adapter welded onto the back end of that pipe to fit with the exhaust pipe. The reason this gets tricky is you don't know how long to make it. You could do some measurements, cut the 3" pipe a little long, have the part welded onto it, if you don't do your own welding, then cut to fit when the time comes. Don't forget to make sure the pipes fit together. Sometimes you need to have a pipe expanded (is this called swaged?) to accept another pipe. They do this at exhaust shops.
