I had the same problem on an '87 9K. The correct battery draw is about 20 ma (0.020 amps) after the interior light timer goes out. My problem was the radiator cooling fan relay timer circuit. While the fan did not run, the relay would draw about 200 ma and flatten the battery overnight. The relay is behind the fuse panel. The glove box needs to be removed, then the fuse panel dropped down to expose several rows of relays. The fan relay with timer was easy to find - just pull them out one-by-one. Mine was actually warm to the touch! If that stops the current draw, you can try my $0 solution: 1) remove the relay housing, 2) locate the long diagonal bus-bar that looks like a brace along one side, 3) clip out a section of the bus-bar to break the timer circuit, 4) reassemble. The fan will no longer run on key-off (most U.S. cars don't, and if you idle the turbo for 30 sec before shutdown you shouldn't have an overheat situation anyway). Fixed mine 100%.
