Contrary to the lore on this subject, it is rare for a head gasket to leak oil to the outside of the engine if the timing cover has not been disturbed. The oil pressure at the cam bearing journals is the lowest in the pressurized oil galleries because they are at the end of the oil delivery path. Once the oil is delivered to the cam bearings, it drains down into the sump at near atmospheric pressures (depending on the back pressure of the PCV system). (For point of reference, take a look at a head gasket, the holes for the oil delivery passages are very far inboard of the gasket edges and the major oil return passage is the large opening for the timing chain.)
It is much more common for the valve cover gasket to leak, giving the appearance of a leaking head gasket. You may be right, but I suggest that you degrease your engine carefully, and then see if you can detect the source of the leak. My guess is that you will find that it is the valve cover gasket.
