Not to preach about oil changes, but 5k miles is a long time to go between changes, especially dino oil. And, you should be down some in that mileage. Is this a high mileage car?
I agree with the others that this is probably a leaky valve cover gasket or maybe leaks from other hoses in the area. If there is no oil dripping when you're parked, the leak is probably a slow one. Clean the area and look for leaks to recurr. You might also run a compression test to be sure, but it's not likely to be leaking. Another quick test is to drip a little oil from the dipstick onto the exhaust manifold; if it sizzles, there's water in the oil. If it just smokes, the oil is oil. Sometimes pressure from the cooling system blows coolant into the oil system raising the oil pressure and causing oil to leak out more quickly.
