After my experiences, I would suggest you have one definite problem and possibly two. The problem with no power is obviously the battery.
Six months is enough to deaden the battery with equipment in the car that uses current continuously, albeit very small. Once the battery is dead, the alternator will not function because it needs to be externally excited by the battery - no battery - no charge from the alternator.
The loss of power for a fraction of a second is a different thing. My car was doing exactly the same thing also after being laid up for some six months. It has taken me 3 months to find the problem. I found that it was poor earths in the various circuits. See my email posted 28th Nov under Terry Cook. It explains what I did. The problem is very much like a fault experienced by "Rosalie" in early November. Since soldering all the crimp connectors in and around the battery compartment, I have not had any problems. There was corrosion in at least one if not two of these connections.
Hope this helps. If all else fails - ask Kappy.
Regards
Terry Cook
