Why have two sets of all season tires?

If you intend to use the 15" rims during the winter, wouldn't it make more sense to get some real performance (summer) tires for the 16" rims? None of the ones you mentioned above are in that category. Otherwise, if you decide to stick with the above list, then go with the Dunlop SP5000s. The Michelin MXMs have a good ride, but otherwise nothing going for them.

Two of the best summer options in my opinion:

Kuhmo Ecsta Supra 712 ($70 at tirerack) - A tried and true cheap performance tire.

Yokohama AVS es100 ($77 at tirerack) - This is a brand new tire that also seems to be part of this new generation of excellent cheap performance tires with fairly high treadwear ratings. It reviews better than the Kuhmos, is about the same price, and looks better in my opinion. I read a review in "Sport Compact Car" which said that these have a nice quiet ride and excellent grip. I'm going to buy a set of these in the spring.
