I also frequent another board called IATN (International Automotive Technician Network)
It's a pay site where mechanics can ask for help, and others around the world comes to your help.
Some of the questions that comes from "other Saab pros" is just up the walls. And still, the site have very specific rules that before you waste the time of 1000 of other mechanics that will read your help request, BE SURE you have checked all the basics first.
TCS questions is just one of many others that comes back on that board over and over again.
Do you maybe have the Saab part vendors website. I could check it out and see if they list the partnumber for the supposedly switch, and run that number on the Saab parts catalog. That would tell me if the switch is the one that is mounted on the non TCS throttle body.
