Hi! I'm actually from the 9-5 board, but have a question for all of you. A friend of mine just had his engine blow up in his '88 RX7 10th AE and is looking for something that is a lot more reliable, gets good gas mileage, is practical, and is fun to drive. In addition, he wants something that he can put a lot of miles on (commutes, a lot). He has approximately $10,000 to work w/ and has been looking at things like a used late model Acura Legend, Maxima, and 300ZX. I had suggested that he look at some Saab's...the 9000's in particular. I noticed there are two 9000 Aero's in the classifieds w/ 79,000 miles and 81,000 miles, respectively. They are both about $8900. Would you recommend such a purchase? I'm new to the Saab world (my 9-5 is the first Saab, and car that I've ever owned) so any help or suggestions you have would be much appreciated. Thanks for your help!
Jim
