Both of these sites have pretty good write ups on the subject;

http://www.quasimotors.com/core.htm
I would add a couple of things. Be careful not to stick your hand through the blend door. I broke mine the first time I changed a blower motor.
Leave the clip off of the blend door actuator arm. It really isn't necessary. If you are lucky and or careful enough not to break the arm getting the clip off in the first place. Odds are you'll be at this again if you keep the car.
I always make sure I have a spare blend door around or at least make sure that the dealer has one in stock. The last few times I've used a big long pair of needle nose pliers to get the clip off, and I haven't broken the blend door in my last three tries.
Plan a full day for your first attempt.
Good luck.
