First timer, I'd plan the better part of a day. At least it's not an early 9000 as they are much more difficult.
I've done it in just over 3 hours with help, but then I've had lots of 9000s since 1986, so I get a lot of practice. It helps to have a strong pair of extra arms to wrestle the receiver as it really can, and needs to, move quite a ways.
I had one blower motor fail in less than a year. Since then I've been spreading a bit of moly assembly lube on the rear bearing as that is the part that seems to fail.
The only other suggestion I have is have a spare blend door on hand, or at least line one up at the dealer. They are easily broken.
