Hi,
Today after washing my car and later goning to the junkayrd for some cosmetic crap i was happy. I got in my car and thought " this car is nice, i like this, and it..it likes me" i was wrong. The car is mesacist! I have always thought that you shouldn't make it too perfect otherwise something will break, I guess the fact that rear windows don't go down, the gas gauge is not accurate and there is a hole in the muffler isn't enough!!

After replacing the little cometic stuff right in the parking lot of the junkyard (which often looks just like the junk yard itself!) I heard a loudeness from the engine, i knew it was none other then the bain of my existance--turbo gasket. Oh well I thought, i have lived with this before i can do it now. Its at this point that the car decided to really give me something to grief over; on the highway, well as i was speeding up, the thing popped outta 3rd, then later again. Well, I thought this is WAR!

I went straight to my bro's shop and replaced the tranny mount and the top engine mounts with POLY. Let me tell you this really helps with the handling and the shifting but it did NOT improve the popping.

I've heard of 2nd gear and 5th gear goning on Saabs but 3rd?!

TIA
