So, what was the dealers respons when he felt that the boost was gone? Or did it come up after you left the shop?
Messing around with and reading /resetting codes on each ECU (LH,DI/APC,ETS and ABS) will also reset your engine to basic boost.
But if everything else is ok, your preferred boost will slowly come back after the car have been driven (your style) for awhile. Maybe it's even back by now.
If not, it's always a chance that the boost controller took a "dump" right then and their.
You see, cars knows when you take it to a shop and they do everything they can to mess with the technicians head and honor.
We also have to assume that the dealer tech knows exactly how to work on the system.
Any Tech 2 software will work on the TCS computer, so that's not the problem.
If you still have the original throttle body, it's way over due for replacement. So please don't shoot the tech if he says that's the way to go. And that still might not take car of the cruise problem. You could end up having to go the ECU way for that.
The cruise could also be related to a failing wheel speed sensor. Was it any fault codes in the ABS computer?
