Again, how far does it drop back? If it drops back to the middle of the yellow, then you're falling into base boost. If it just drops back a little from the yellow/red, then you're getting into boost taper, where, boost, well, tapers off. It's designed that way.
If it's dropping back to base boost after reaching full boost (yellow/red), I would still consider it a potential knock problem. Of course, make sure you've got the EXACT RIGHT NGK spark plugs - no messing around - get the ones specified in the manual, and make sure they're gapped right. No plug comes from the package gapped right, or if it is, not all 4 will be.
