When accelerating hard, does the shifter move a lot? It may be a case of worn motor mounts. You've got the most torque during hard 1st gear take-offs, and torque can cause the motor to move on the mounts. Inspect the top mount (dogbone or 'torque arm'), and the two hydraulic mounts on the right side of the engine (passenger side, US).
Failed motor mounts are pretty common on the 9000, and typically die after 100K and a decade. Not an awful DIY job.
