the reason i ask this is coz i'm new in the country over here and have noone independant to ask this question to. well not one with car-knowledge anyway. my wife totalled her lil mazda protege and we're looking for a replacement. i was ofcourse heavily plugging a saab but she aint fallin for it. came across a 1994 Audi 100, a private seller, great car has had everything serviced but guy bought a new A6. asking only $3.000 but here's the but; needs new front struts and brake discs+shoes. he's already bought the parts, we get em with the car, how much would you ( anyone out there ) estimate labor would be for replacing front struts and brake-stuff? furthermore are there good or bad experiences with audi's over here? i'm from the netherlands and my dad's been driving these things past 250K with zero problems. might be different here.

thats all really, i'd really like to hear what y'all ( yeah im louisiana now ) have to say about it. thanks in advance
