As marco says, sometime you just plain can't get the pictogram to play nice. The early pictogram system (like '88) used a box with special relays with balanced current coils. Plain and simple, it was too sensitive, and there were times NOTHING would make it work right. At some point Saab went to a solid state unit that was better - fewer false alarms. But it's very possible that the problem lies in the Pictogram relay itself. It's mounted in the relay box behind the glovebox. You may want to swap it out from a junker - I'd use a newer unit.
But chasing ground loops can be pretty difficult, so you may want to determine when you're not willing to chase this problem any more.
