there is enough "meat" exposed. This has happened to me too many times to say without embarassement. Every time, my bro has welded something onto the stump and pulled it out.
Because your car is so "new" I think drilling, etc should be the last attempts.
Is there a need to do this? Yes. I know that it is possible to run the car with a bolt missing, I have done it myself. However, having a bolt missing may cause warping not to metion premature exhaust gasket wear.
