When you're doing to work remember to remove as much as you can rather than letting things dangle. This will make hard things, loike unbolting the starter motor, much easier. This is also an opportune time to remove/replace the power steering rack if it has been moaning.
As already said DEFINITELY replace the hydraulic line running from master to slave. It may be that the line has slowly been rotting and small particles have been screwing up the action of the slave cylinder - I admit this is a long shot but you don't want to put in a 5th slave.
I've got a picture or two of a pressure bleeder I manufactured out of a garden sprayer at the URL below. I found that it made doing brakes and bleeding clutch hydraulics much easier. email if any trouble arises.
