I have TCS on my 1993 CDE Auto and I love it. I'm not sure what tires you are running, but I've only run into trouble when trying to back the car up on a slippery sloping driveway. Every other time it works perfectly. A little wheel spin and then it goes like a bat out of hell!
In the wintertime when things get slippery, I have my favorite proving ground hill.
I stop in the middle of the hill and then nail the gas. The 9000 goes with no problems. I tried to do the same thing in my C900 with the same tires. The 9000 was up the hill and gone while my C900 was still getting up to speed.
I bought the switch for TCS, but it does not work on Auto's. Maybe the TCS logic is different between manual and auto trannies.
