I agree. Try pricing a fuel injector for a corvette, and them price one for a Mustang. Same part number on the injector, but the corvette part will cost you 30% more. It's been a gripe for years in the corvette community.
Another reason a rad for a Chevy is going to be cheaper a opposed to the Saab rad is how many other Saab's do you pass on your way to work? Now look out the window and count chevy trucks. Basic supply and demand, but yet well still drive and love our saabs now don't we :-)
