About 1.5 mos ago I installed 4 Zimmerman C/D and a left front caliper. Since then, I'v been losing about 1/2 inch of fluid from the res with nothing on the ground. Until this morning, when i found a nice puddle of fluid on the ground. Right about underneath the master cylinder. The replaced caliper is clean. The ABS light has been on since I bought it about 7 mos ago but clutch and brake feel have been fine. I used DOT 4 synthetic (i'm at work, can't remember the brand, a goldish bottle). I will be under it when I get home. I'm wondering if the previous fluid was not dot 4 and now I'm f'ed (meaning a whole bunch of hydraulic fun). Or is it possible I'm getting the fluid too hot because I notice the cap is pretty wet everytime I check it. I'm scheduled for a major service next week, but would like to avoid saab service fees for this one. Sorry for the long post, thanks for any ideas in advance and I couldn't find anything similar searching the BB.
