Marc posted the above part# a month or two ago. It seems that it is the "bottom half" of the DI which is what usually fails. Also sounded like a simple bolt or screw on to the old DI frame. What electronics are included, I don't know.

Both Anders in his post above, and my indy seem to be sceptical that such a part exhists. Or that the newer DI is 'rebuildable'. I'll try to run down the part and find out. Come to think of it, eEuroparts sells a rebuilt unit that is quite a bit cheaper than new. So maybe they do exhist.
