Are you sure it is the blower motor. I have also have a 92 9000. The blower motor resistor module has a small non-replaceable fuse that has blown a few times. A Blown fuse results in no power to AC and no lower fan speeds. New module is ~$90.
I soldered a jumper across the fuse. Or you can solder a replaceable fuse across the blown fuse. Mine measured 2-6-8 amps current draw at each of the three speed settings (2 amps at the lowest speed).
I replaced a blower motor on my 88 9000S once. Broke the AC lines removing the canister styled assembly. On the 92, it seems like there is less obstruction.
If you do the job, you should consider also replacing the heater core if it is still the original unit as a preventive maintenance measure. Although I believe factory recall # 708 changed the heater core and added a plastic cover over the SRS computer box.
