Prior changing the valve you might want to clean it first internally. Some people have reported that penetrating oil (="WD40") might help if the valve is internally dirty. Carburator cleaner might be too harsh for the plastics of the valve, but you might want to try that before buying new expensive valve.
However it might be also mechanically broken (reported also often).
Do search on the BB with BPC (BPC valve=APC solenoid)...
