The easiesi thing to do is try a known good DI cassette in your car, or try your suspect DI cassette in a different car. I did this a couple of weeks ago after checking plugs, injectors etc etc.
Apparently the first thing a Saab dealer will do when there is a misfire problem on a DI-equipped car is try a new DI unit. The cynic in me says they do this because it's a very quick and easy way of making money. The trusting guy in me says it's because they are known to fail anywhere from 60k miles onwards (mine went at 136k :-) ) and it is v v easy to check.
Good luck.
