Depending on how much oil there is left in the system from the R12 charge, it might need to be drained and blow through with compressed air. But that's usually enough.
If the old A/C compressor have self destructed and sent debris through the whole system, the whole system might have to be replaced all together to be on the safe side (especially the condensor).
The A/C oil that is used at conversions (Ester oil)is compatible (mixing) with the old R12 oil if it isn't too much of the old oil in the system. That's why the Technician needs to look at the amount of oil coming out when breaking open the connections.
I don't feel a seperate flush is needed if above things are followed.
If a system already contains R12, the oil is suspended in the freon and gets sucked out together with the R12.
Wait with the motor mounts until they are broken, they are a lot sturdier on the 91 and up 9000 compared to older ones.
You might consider a whole serpentin belt tensioner together with the pulleys to be on the safe side.
