Similar vibes in my '93 CSE. Lower hydralics seem OK...I pry the engine up and release...it bounces nicely. One new OEM bushing in the dogbone. Have not changed tranny mount. Here's the crux..the engine should not vibrate that much at idle..isn't that what the harmonic balance shafts are 'sposed to mitigate. For me, the question is not about how the vibes are transmitted, but why the vibes at all. When I lift the idle to 1200rpm, the vibes disappear. I have replcd the serp belt tensioner but I think the source is a device driven by the serp belt. I notice vibe in the belt at idle but at 1200, the belt runs true w/o the +/- 1/2" deflection I observe at idle. Try this..turn on the AC..do the vibes increase? I don't know how to ID the component as you cannot selectively rem the drive belt from an individual device. I often shift to NEU at a stop light. One , to reduce the vibration but more 2)it's embarrassing to be in a car that somebody (not me) paid 40K for with that kind of vibration going on. We also have a 1999 9-5 which is smooth as can be in every condition. Of course, it has different mount sys, but the engine does not vibrate.
