My anti Theft on my '95 aero is acting funny. The damn thing got me stuck twice. Door unlock very slowly and I can hear a relay tripping close to the fuse box...car won't start. Wait a while... door locks and alarm do not respond to my remote. Suddenly everything comes back to normal except the clock is now at 0:00 upon restart. Things are good for a day then same thing. Had to disconect the battery for a while...then was able to start the car though the remote did not lock doors and activate alarm (clock back at 0:00 again). I do not want to be stuck again so I don't lock the car for a while. I hit the remote by mistake twice (by habit) before going in the car... locks and alarm still do not respond. My son does it at home and now it works.
Batteries in remote are new and checking good on voltmeter (2 new sets tried) so it eliminates that.
Any idea?
Where are the components for the anti-theft ? Maybe I can start by checking the electrical connections.
TIA
