Anders a question for you
93 aero manual
I took the car in to have a new throttle body installed for the dreaded TCS condition.
It was not calibrated upon install and was driven for a few days with problems. Overboost was one of them and the last two days before I could get it back into the shop, anytime the turbo gage went
from yellow into the red, any gear, the it would do a quick fuel cutoff/on continuous while in the red. Never would happen in the yellow. The last day of this the check engine light came on.
Flashes 7 times when check the code.
I took it back to the shop and they recalibrated the system.
Now it 1st and 2nd gear it still has the fuel cutoff/on problem and check engine light is still on. Other gears the car drives like an aero.
The codes were pull'd and initial indication it could be either the 02 sensor, the computer, or?
Any ideas?
Also could installing the new style throttle body with out recalibrating the system and driving it around for a while cause the computer to go bad or something else?
TIA
