I've been removing and replacing belts on my two 9000's for years. That's what the tool I copied from Quasi is for. It clamps the tensioner assembly so the belt can be removed without allowing the tensioner to expand and break.
What I need to do is actually remove the tensioner (looks like a little hydraulic cylinder) and replace it with a new one.
