After someone on the BG900 BB put 12V on the IAC it was thought that this would have fried it. This was done to open the flap to allow things to be cleaned. The IAC's get fouled up on the NG900's and carb cleaner will remove the deposits. Oil liberally afterwards as carb cleaner will degrease the pivots. Remove the IAC to clean it and keep carb cleaner away from paintwork.

I don't know how much that IAC might differ from yours.

You can remove the hose from the high side of the throttle plate and watch the IAC move if the orientation allows. Then restrict the TB and watch it respond, or crack the throttle a tiny bit and watch the IAC again.
