Hey all, a few Q's on the TCS issue, it is my turn now (!) to diagnose, my 92 9KT has gotten progressively worse with time. First, boost gauge will no longer touch red zone, ever, in any gear, and when applying little more than moderate throttle, engine stalls, gas pedal stiffens, and Red TCS Light. All clears upon restart. I have traced all vacuum lines, replaced some that were really bad looking, the solenoid on false firewall reads 34 ohms when engine hot (I think is correct). It may have already been changed, it has blue connector. Check valve seems OK, but problem persists. My question is, vacuum diagram posted under hood calls this "VENT VALVE", and there is another on LF wheel well called "CONTROL VALVE", has 3 hoses connected. With my VOM it reads OPEN! What is this solenoid for? Is this my problem? Also, the replaced line that goes from this solenoid valve to BPV(?)valve, but I can blow through it. Does this indicated a blown BPV valve? Was also wondering if there is a good vacuum line diagram available for this engine. The solenoid marked "CONTROL VALVE" has one line to intake, ont to BPV(?), not sure where third line goes. Thanks!
