Thank you. I didnt know which way I was being pulled. I never said 1000 was too much, I just dont have it at the present. I just put in a new head gasket , timing chain, and guides and I got a deal to do it for 1500. I had my mechanis in NJ look at the TCS for 6 hours and he couldnt find anything wrong. he said I either needed a new throttle boot or a computer but he couldnt be 100 percent. he said the throttle body was 1000 and the computer was 1600. I aked him about the bypass and he said it could be done. but i had conflicking stories. in florida if you find a good mechanic you found the fountain of youth, in nj you have loads of good mechanics.
you know any way I can get my windows back up?
