It might be very harmful for you... For example in tight overtaking you try to get pass and floor,,, in no time fuel is cut-off resulting to no acceleration and then you have big possibility for big head to head smack!
The cut-off might be caused by something simple like faulty or dirty APC valve or loose wastegate actuator. First do a seach on the BB.
