The lower A-arm on the front suspension has rubber bushings front and rear. The fronts usually hold up OK, but the rears go. They're easy to check - jack up the front end. There is a thin gap between the A-arm and the chassis. Stick a stout screwdriver between the A-arm and the chassis, and try and move the A-arm away from the chassis. Look at the movement of the front and rear bushings. I'll bet that you'll see that there is a lot of free-play in the rear bushing.
Replacing the rear bushing is pretty easy. You drop the A-arm, which isn't as hard as it sounds. The front bushing requires pressing out.
The other comments are good. Misalignment can easily cause torque steer. Any worn suspension components can, too, like ball joints, tie rod ends, and of course, bushings. Make sure everything is tight. If there is the wrong movement, when you try and transfer power to the wheel, it moves slightly, and that causes the steer.
