New 9000s owner--couple questions

Hello Saab 9000 lovers,
I'm a new owner of a Canadian spec. 1989, 9000s (5spd)--love it! Everything works very well but I have a couple of questions:
1) Warm starts are not always successful. The car starts, but the tach will dip below 500 and sometimes stall out. A little bit of gas and some coaxing will get it to stabilize. Then it idles at around 900rpm. Any suggestions?
3) Is there a way to recondition the window regulators? My driver's side electric window is a little tired--I want to be prepared when (if) it fails completely.
2) What are the options for shop manuals? Apparently, there's no Haynes or Bentley. Is the Haynes for the 900 of some use for basic stuff?
Thanks, this looks like a very active and enthusiastic board.
